I canceled my account and they still take payment out with NO refunds. I got premium and no views. Just a scam.
Some 70% of men I had matched with and initiated a conversation don't ever reply! Or unmatched me soon after I started talking to them. Why are you matching then? What is wrong with you? Playing mind games or something? This app must be an ego booster for men and nothing else. I should add that I am attractive tall woman, and good at holding a decent conversation, so can't understand this. I have now deleted Bumble and will never use again!

They just want you to pay for everything, even to send a message or see who likes you for separate, too expensive, technical issues, fake profiles, no customer service, botched features, worst experience ever! I want my money back, but they already stole it. STAY AWAY save a headache!
Tip for consumers:
This site just want to rip you off your money, use another dating app please if you don’t want to have a heart attack
Bumble is fake. Prior to paying for a 6 month subscription, they "claimed" that I had 10 "likes" waiting for me. After my subscription payment was processed, those "likes" disappeared. For 6 months I received only four "likes." Then, to prove it's a scam, the day after my subscription ended, Bumble tells me that I have 9 new "likes" and that I would need to purchase another 6 month subscription to view their profiles. I actually tried to cancel the subscription within 30 days of my first day with Bumble, but they refused to provide me with a refund. Bumble is a joke. Please don't waste your money. Trust me.
Such a fake site! Just don't go near it. They make money on subscriptions and auto-renewals. There is hardly any real woman there or if there is, you can't find her among thousands of fakes.
I have never felt more fooled than when dealing with Bumble. Most of the profiles are fake as well as all "likes". As soon as I understood it I switched to
Adult4Flirt.club
It's really a top-notch dating site with mind-blowingly beautiful women. But guess what? I'm still struggling to cancel my Bumble subscription. They ignore my requests to cancel and they keep charging me. They are thieves; they simple take their customers' money. Don't touch Bumble with a barge pole!
My account was blocked because a member reported me. I asked for this to be reversed but was told that it was permanent as I violated their guidelines. I carefully read through the guidelines and I most certainly did not violate any one of them.
I believe the person who reported me (she actually wrote to me and said that she was goign to do so) is someone that I had not written to or responded to on Bumble but rather who was angry at me for something that happened between us in person many years prior, and long before I was on Bumble.
This is particularly aggravated by the fact that I had foolishly shelled out $249.99 for a lifetime membership only to have it cancelled with no money returned at all.
I should add that occasionally I do get about 1 contact every 2+ months from Bumble. My profile has professionally taken photos from a photographer & looks really good {IMO}.
Women I've talked to get 200+ responses PER DAY from Bumble. My target age range is also higher: I'm looking for educated, in-shape, women in the 53-63 age range. I myself am 60 but am in very good shape. Thus ratios are highly skewed (no women// many men). They will automatically renew you unless you put the renewal date in a calendar & make sure to cancel just before that date.
You can get customer support if you complain enough. I think support is not US-based but not sure.
Tip for consumers:
try to meet people at events instead
Usual process of when a guy signs up, you'll get one tailor-made contact from an incredible woman. This is fake. She'll be gorgeous, have exactly your same interests, and will seem friendly and interested in you. After a few exchanges, her profile will disappear and you'll get no more contacts from her.
I think all the online dating services do this to lure in guys. After this, there'll be no more contacts from eligible women.
There is a lot to like about Bumble, the app, the number of active users, the low cost. I tend to but a months subscription every 6 months to see how I get on, been doing that for years. Sometimes I drop off after the month, other times I keep it going. I've had a lot of luck recently with a great site called WeJustFit that's a bit more under the radar, so I've not been trying as many sites as usual, but signed up to Bumble today for my half yearly check and it's good to see it's still a decent choice for me.
I texted someone and lo and behold they left the country after a short time. Kept in touch, but had a bad vide. I was correct, he was in a jam and needed money. Surprise. No money and haven't heard since. This guy went to a lot of trouble to set up his scam. I contacted Bumble because I thought he might be pulling this on other woman. Never heard back from them and I gave them quite a bit of info.
I've been happy overall with Bumble. It finds me pretty good matches and mostly works well. BUT...
(1) Bumble can't handle a phone number change. I didn't know people could call me through the app and, after getting an unexpected call from a stranger one night while I was on the app, I changed my phone number to a number I only answer if I have a pre-arranged phone date set up. But Bumble can't handle a phone number change. I can no longer access my account on a computer. The site doesn't recognize either the old or the new phone number. I contacted Bumble customer service and they said I was out of luck. The only way to fix it would be to delete my account and start over from scratch. Very frustrating.
(2) You can't set your filter to look for people who LIVE near you. The app can only recognize current location. I live near an airport. I get matched with people that are technically in my city -- for a 30 minute stopover. You have to swipe down 4-5 screens to the bottom of every single profile to see where the person actually lives. It's really time consuming. I have contacted Bumble customer service about this twice and they have failed to respond.
Tip for consumers:
No customer service phone number. Email is the only option. Takes days to get an answer and then, if they didn't understand your question, you have to wait a couple more days...and on and on.
Bumble has made several changes to it's app making it for the better. I can honestly say due to the change made, I think Bumble is a great app to meet someone. They have a great selection of very good looking men to choose from whereas other apps really seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Bumble has turned much more classy over the last couple of months when before they were quickly heading into the trashy category.
A+ for you Bumble! I would highly recommend this app to any single person wanting to no longer be single. In my opinion Bumble should hands down have the #1 dating spot in Google playstore for dating apps!
Pretty much everytime I get 1 or a few more likes they ALWAYS never message first resulting in the match expiring. Why do they do that? It's extremely misleading, are they not interested in me after matching? Then unmatch me don't just let it expire. The price is good compared to other sites/apps that rob you. But it would be nice if Bumble had more options similar to Tinder. If you are looking for a gamer partner why is there no option to select you only want to see gamers etc? I really only use this because of it's price and the fact that women have to message first. Since on every other site or app guys have to message first, and even if I match with someone they never reply.
Bumble is a bot city. I used Adult4Flirt.club before and it was not like that. I actually got dates there. I'm going to renew my account there. I won't waste my time and I won't risk my credit card anymore on con sites like Bumble. It's really difficult to find a legit dating site these days so I won't mess with good luck.
Bumble is a fake enterprise created by a slick gang of fraudsters. Initially you get lots of matches, likes and messages from fake profiles. Then you get to chat with bots. That's as far as their "service" goes. Then they keep charging you since they make it impossible to cancel.
I'm sure plenty of legitimate bans are placed each day on creeps and solicitors, but I'm a normal guy who just randomly had his account deleted without warning or reason. Customer support has also ignored me completely.
Because women make the first move, men try harder with their profile. I loved the verified picture function, because of millions of catfish. That feature eliminated catfish for the most part. It's a pretty good app. I'm taking a sabbatical from online dating as it's so stressful, but Bumble is my favorite so far.
All the men on these site don't talk and if they do the only offers you're going to get are to come over their house and have sex. Really low caliber men on this site…absolutely horrible. The free sites hold up their reputation I've tried it a few times each time I feel awful depressed negative energy. Not worth going in there even it being free.
Tip for consumers:
It’s abusive to women..and shouldn’t be allowed
Google says that Bumble is free. That's the way they get you signed up and after all the hard work of creating a profile they tried to sucker you into buying likes and so forth. There's nothing on this site that doesn't cost money. What a joke. Kudos Bumble for being the laughing stock of dating sites.
Tip for consumers:
It's a sucker site and it's for suckers
All these dating sites employ the same business model - how they market the sites is the only difference. Their primary objective is to make money, not help find you a partner.
So, onto Bumble. This is what you can expect, from a male perspective: -
I would say 70-80% of the profiles are fake including the "verified" ones - and that's a conservative estimate.
Many of the photos look suspiciously like pro stock images. Either that or many women have their own personal photographer.
The photos are staged, women raising a glass of wine or champagne, completing marathons, hiking photos, canoeing, standing against a wall mural with angel wings, in exotic locations.
Typically they like wine or gin, yoga, cheese, hiking, gym, running, horses, weightlifting, skiing, and various outdoor activities.
Many profiles answer to the zombie apocalypse plan is "to go down the Winchester until it all blows over". Strange how so many from all over the UK drink in a pub with the same name. No, this is not a selectable answer from a list. These are bot fake profiles.
The classic, "You must be able to make me laugh" is all over the site.
As is "looking for a partner in crime".
90% of the women have nose piercings.
Oh, and animal-ears filter pics.
Many narcissists register on Bumble just to advertise their Instagram page.
You get the posers and pouters, attention seekers, egotists, show offs, who have no intention of dating.
The usual algorithm on these sites is to lure you in at first, you will get plenty of attention, likes, and chats, maybe a couple of actual dates. Soon, the same profiles that you previously swiped left on mysteriously reappear. Then after a few weeks, the activity will slow down almost to a halt, you will be left with false likes you cannot see until you pay for membership, enticing the unaware and desperate user to fork out his cash. People have reported paying for the premium package in order to see the women who have liked their profile, only for the likes to vanish once they upgrade.
Reportedly, cancelling a subscription is extremely difficult. Also numerous reports of people getting banned for no reason after paying for a lifetime subscription.
Bumble? More like Swindle.
Overall it's a demoralising experience, as it is on all these sites. Avoid them all.
I got a message when I logged in a day after a religious bigot blocked me that I was "monitored" and that if there was "another occurrence" my account would be dropped. No explanation as to what I did, no phone number to call, no response when I was able to ferret out their concealed email address.Big Brother is watching.
Tip for consumers:
Whoever read my writing doesn't know or doesn't care about diversity, societal oppression or freedom of expression
I have been trying to contact them because it was not supposed to continue with payments this month and it still went through... I have been trying to contact someone for a refund, I have messaged like 6 different times and not one response! It pisses me off so bad!
A. You can't filter by race. Really?
B. None of your photos can have a weapon. Sounds ok at first, BUT...there are thousands of us who shoot skeet/sporting clays as a hobby or even professionally and the stupid app wont allow ANY pics that feature me participating in this sport, even with an explanation. I guess my archery pics are forbidden too? Their reply was... "you wont ever meet someone carrying a weapon so it cant be in your photos" Funny, I have a carry permit and might very well meet up with a potential match with my.35 on me. LOL. People have actually been raped or killed on blind dates through dating apps. AND...sporting clays/skeet would be an IDEAL first date for others that participate the sport. Doesnt make me a "killer"..
I had many perfect conversations. And the delete pop up and gets in way when you slide up to go to another conversation. You don't see I it. And it deletes who you were talking to. It does not ask if you want to delete the connection. I have missed out on many opportunities due to this bad feature in bumble. I hate bumble due to this.
Tip for consumers:
The way they programmed the site is bad. You can loose a conversation due to a pop up you don’t see and it deletes the conversation
Signed up for their $20 a month membership only to learn that if I want to learn of the alleged eight women who have matched with me I have to pay another $20. Otherwise they're just blurred out.
Textbook deceptive advertising.
Very disappointed with Bumble. I report your App to all the consumer review online companies. I'll also be sharing my complaint with a lawyer so I can sue your company for harassment. I received a notice I would be deleted or censored for false allegations of " sexual harassment" by a fake women profile. I feel Bumble sides with fake profiles on here. I really don't feel safe or comfortable to use your App anymore. I feel I've gained nothing. Women profiles in general from my experience have proven and shown that many of the fake female profiles are the aggressors, start trouble and lie about genuine men. I will share my complaint with as many consumer website review companies I can. Bumble is no longer a honest, reputable company and will make sure to tell even the government to censor your App from Google Play, etc for life.
Tip for consumers:
Terrible company. Favors scammers
They write a message as if someone is trying to contact you but when you reply no return message is forthcoming they just want you to buy premium.
Bumble has changed the way people date, find friends, and the perception of meeting online, for the better. Women make the first move. On iPhone + Android.
