This was my first experience with cremation services. I wanted a more personalized urn vs. the generic urn from the funeral home for my husband and I discovered Mainly's website. The selection and engraving process was easy and they always keep you in the loop regarding the status of your order. The key to any company's success is quality and communication and Mainly exceeded my expectations in both areas.
The packaging was not sufficient in protecting the base of the unit. Was severely damaged/crushed so bad that 2 Iarge chunks were chipped off. Suggest they put it in another box with some styrofoam over the top of it. I brought it to a car dealer [family friend] who bondoed it and repainted it for me overnight. As I had no time to return it and get a new one due to the burial date.

This was a beautiful Urn we ordered for mom. The crimson color was perfect and the engraving was well done. There were issues with shipping causing a delay as the package sat for two days about 10 miles from our home at UPS.

I bought an urn from here 4 years ago when my first cat died. His sister died recently and it was so important to me that they have matching urns. Well the company discontinued it and it was no longer available. After explaining my situation to customer service, I was put on hold while they went far and wide to search their leftover inventory. They found one and arranged the order for me. Was over and beyond and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

It was a truly difficult task choosing the final resting place for my mother-in-law. We all love her so much and nothing seemed right. Found this and it was still off - The # of words I wrote for her urn was way more than what was allowed and I had my own ideas for the graphics to be engraved. Worked with Dave Townsend and then with Jill and am so thrilled with the results. It was a great bargain and personalized exactly how I wanted it to be. Thank you so much for your awesome service. I lost my soul mate dog in early May and held off on buying an urn until I could find the right one for her. I stumbled on Mainely Urns and I'm glad I did. The urn is beautiful and it is perfect for her. I received a proof via email and had a question that was answered very quickly. I had been browsing online and Mainely Urns had a good selection of urns that looked well made and not cheap. I was looking for something pink for Hazel and so many other companies had pink urns that looked cheap. Yours did not.
The look of the website could use a bit more help so it's not as confusing when making choices.

The last thing you need is difficulty when trying to purchase items for a loved one that has passed. Starting with Kevin in customer service, the entire Mainly Urns experience was exceptional. They, like my wife and I are from Maine. I thought purchasing the urn from a business in Maine would be a special touch.

The shopping experience was beautiful, seamless and responses from them were quite prompt.
I am pleased with the product itself, however I was a little disappointed as the images and writing did not appear to "pop" as much as I expected and I wondered if the "marker whitening" was actually used on my Plaque.
I chose Mainely Urns because they appeared to have what I was looking for and reviews were great.
