BACKGROUND: Soldiers’ Angels works with over 7,000 volunteers all across the country and globe. Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization, and they allow us to serve the thousands of veterans, service members, and their families every year. We need volunteers to help us ensure that we are able to contact prospective volunteers in a timely manner. POSITION SUMMARY: The Volunteer Services Administrative Volunteer assists the Volunteer Services team with contacting prospective volunteers from provided lists. The role will assist with compiling lists as needed and other administrative duties. IMPACT: It is our goal to serve every eligible family who is need this holiday season. You can be a part of making that happen and changing lives of our service members and veterans. In 2021, more than 1,200 families were supported.

Provide direct support to a deployed military chaplain - Virtual Opportunity

Flexible Schedule | Virtual Opportunity

Help support the men and women that in turn provide for so many deployed soldiers through the Soldiers’ Angels Chaplains Support Team. Items might include non-denominational letters to distribute to service members, as well as gifts and supplies that can be easily distributed to service members who may be needing extra support. Because chaplains travel throughout the war zone, working with them helps Soldiers' Angels reach personnel who may be in remote locations, feeling isolated and lonely, and in need of a morale boost. We also strongly encourage these service members to submit their names for adoption through their chaplain. As the VA Deputy Representative, you will assist and help organize fun and engaging programs to boost the morale of veterans! From recruitment of volunteers to coordinating the distribution of goods and services to hosting special events for veterans, you and the volunteers will show our veterans how much we appreciate their service. This position will be assisting with documentation of donations and the monthly reporting for the volunteers.
