I liked this app! I found here a friend that I have already met for half a year. I advise everyone to this application.

I constantly get guys wanting to go to what's app, or cell phone numbers to chat
2 -3 times daily. You know the one I'm in the military bah bah bah.
Or send money for sex. I was on SCRUFF last summer same $#*!. SCRUFF is not a ligetiment dating site same your money and your time it's a fraud.

Scruff allows people to post a profile without a photo. What this means is the place is overrun with trolls & scam artists. Furthermore, if you try to block folks without a profile photo for security, there is a limit to how many can be blocked. Trust me, with all the anonymous users on there, you can run out of "blocks" pretty fast.

The photo policy makes one think this company is not run by free-thinking LGBT staff. One's waistband of one's undergarments must be lower than the outer garment...? No pictures in swimwear...?! Who runs this site? The Freedom Family Council, FCS?!?

Finally, it's a crap shoot as to whether you'll get a compassionate customer service person to respond to your needs. And, let's just say, the odds are not in your favor. Typically it's someone with an obviously staged nickname who appears to answer by rote, injecting little evidence of a sentient being on the other end into the dialogue.

Who indeed owns this site? Do they have any connection to the Gay community, at all? That's the question I'm left with.

Waaaaay too many other gay dating sites in the sea to be dealing with this nonsense.

Like most dating apps, they now charge for more features. However being able to block someone for abusive behaviour is a basic safety feature and should not be limited. I have now deleted my Scruff profile for this one reason. Even Grindr allows unlimited blocks. Do better.

I am a gay guy living a short life disability who was bullied by guys and when I contradicted, I was permanently and suspended from SCRUFF blaming me that I was harassing other members and they blocked my entire network preventing me and my roommates to create a free membership account at this gay dating site ever again. I was a member for over 8 years and occasionally I was purchasing monthly memberships this is how rewarding me back because they have over 20 million subscribers and of course, they don't give a $#*! for 1 guy. If I had a GUN I would have shoot Eric Silverberg the creator of this dating application who impulses such harsh rules without permitting individuals to explain or resonate such situations. He is cutting me off from my personal gay network forcing me not to act myself.
Example: if you were driving and someone cut your way and you open your window and start swearing at this other driver does that mean you need to lose your driving license? Obviously no! Then why is this fcking idiot putting such harsh restrictions without permitting you to resonate this situation!
For so many years LGBTQ fought hard to gain our human rights and freedom in our society and then this fcking evil creator is causing harm to vulnerable gay men like myself. There gay guys who live with "mental" disorders and disabilities why discriminate against us and exclude us from the gay network to interact with other gay members in our cities? You have the "blocking" feature on this dating application then if someone gets into a harassment argument you can easily block the one site but to permanently suspend me, I find this very harmful, and action needs to be taken

Scruff dating site has been OK when first joined it about 5 years ago! They've made some changes I Did Not like a few years ago. Issues with login and password. There support was OK? But really didn't help much, So I left in frustration, leaving my Newly found friends behind! After having Major Issues with Bear 411, id tried Scruff Again... And it Really Really Impressed me with its Updated Changes! I'm Very Very Happy To Return! It's faster, and kinder to Android devices! I haven't yet needed technical support, but because of how well it's improved, and how they tried to help me in the past... I expect Great treatment an help as before! A+!
