I purchased this cooking class for my mom and I for Mother's Day. I was highly disappointed to find out during this class we only made one thing from scratch, the rest of the items were pre made. Everyone was split into groups of four, so we had to take turns making our dish even though the price for the class is extremely expensive. It gets worse! Our chef was EXTREMELY rude! Someone in my class asked for water as the chef was walking away from her, the Chef responded with an attitude that she was clearly helping someone else and rolled her eyes. When my group received a bowl of milk like substance to create whipped topping, the chef came and dipped her bare hands into our bowl to get out a piece of "dill" and kept putting her hands in our food trying to retrieve it, instead of just getting us fresh ingredients. That was extremely gross, and unsanitary, I couldn't believe that she wanted us to eat after she did that. When it came time to show the class how to do certain steps she used our food as an example so that you had less work to do, or used your materials so that you wouldn't have enough to go around your group. In this case she used soooo much of our icing trying to show the class how to decorate cup cakes, I asked could we get more, and she responded soo rudely as if she wasn't the reason we didn't start with much. While I was spreading cream on my short cake, creating something I would enjoy eating, she stops the class to let them know that what I was doing was NOT correct and I needed to add more cream to make my dessert sexy! She took the bowl and spatula out of my hand and drowned my pastry/ short cake in cream. (This is the same cream she continues to put her fingers in to retrieve "dill") I was soo pissed, and she looked at me and said well I think I added too much, what do you think? It took everything I had not to walk out of class. This was the WORSE cooking experience I have EVER had. Do NOT waste your money coming to Sur La Table cooking class off of six forks rd. Raleigh NC. Be ware that these are NOT classes for you and your guest to work together and enjoy a cooking experience. Instead you are literally sharing ingredients between four people. If you do decide to attend this location hopefully you don't get the rude, unsanitary chef that I had! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I have taken several online classes and purchased plenty of kitchenware from Sur la Table and have always been pleased. However, this week they went above and beyond. I signed my kid and a friend up for the teen cooking camp. They were so excited to learn to open their own restaurant. And honestly we were hoping they share with us. But, last week they both got COVID. I assumed we would be out of luck. Without hesitation Sur la Table gave us a full refund. We'll be sure to take the class another time.

Excellent dish The menu is large and of especially good quality for the season. Unquestionably good dining. Even though it can be pricey, it's worthwhile, and different nights have different deals, so it's worth looking them up before making a reservation. Highly suggested.

Dual Air Fryer worked great until we had a problem, customer service is terrible. Emailed customer services based in the UK and they wouldn't deal with me, insisted I instead rang a US telephone number but the telephone number did not work, refused to send out small part to resolve the problem, would not advise anyone to purchase any Sur La Table products.

Recently Sur La Table began offering some electrics branded as Sur La Table products in Costco. Though these are branded as for us, it is in partnership with Marquee Brands and are not carried on our website or in our stores. Mon Chateau manufacturers products for SLT Costco products which are different from SLT sold items.
For these items purchased through Costco, Costco handles any returns or exchanges and product information. This information should be included with the manual for the air fryer.

Christopher, who assisted me on the phone with an issue of a broken lid of a baking dish (which we purchased through mail) was most helpful and cordial. The conversation went smoothly and professionally with customer satisfaction in mind.
The new set of a baking dish with lid is promised to arrive within 5 business days.
This purchase was a gift for my daughter and I'm pleased that the problem was resolved swiftly and right away.

Sur La Table offers great product at a good price, but never have I had to reach out for any issues before, and now knowing how great their service is, I will definitely keep them in mind on future online purchases. I purchased several drinking glasses for Thanksgiving and a few of them (although packaged well) arrived cracked or broken. So I emailed them and Sebastian responded right away and took care of everything, and even had my glasses shipped and delivered before the holiday which was only a few days away! I can't thank you enough for making it such an easy process and helping me out so quickly.

The day of my scheduled cooking class, I was feeling under the weather and worried I had COVID. Ricardo in customer service was very considerate and helpful, wishing me a good outcome on my test and offering to cancel/refund my class so I could reschedule. Run from this lying company. On their website, they list items as in stock. Once I ordered items, one was in fact back ordered and the ones "in stock" would take 10-14 BUSINESS days. That's about 3 weeks in calendar days - for an item "in stock". Due to these time frames I called and wrote to cancel the order. The website said the items were in process not yet shipped. They would not cancel the order. This company used to be great and I ordered a lot from them. Now, they really stink.

I'd ordered a two pack of sheet pans, one arrived with a dent, one call & Guillermo had a replacement on the way.
A few days later I was going to wash the second (not dented) pan when I realized it was bent and wouldn't sit flat. I was a little embarrassed I'd not checked both.
I replied to Guillermo who immediately had that second pan on the way too.
They both delivered today in perfect shape.
It's easy to order online and when there's a problem, reaching an almost immediate resolution makes me want to shop at Sur La Table for all my kitchen needs.

Purchased a cooking class November of 2022 during the Black Friday sale, for a class being offered in January of 2023. I received a call from the Tampa store-
I was informed they cancelled the class as the store is going through inventory.
This was a gift for a friend for the holidays we both took time off work to attend the class and we're very much looking forward to this experience. I still planned to reschedule the class at a later time. I called store- Sur La table, I got a woman on the phone who
Directed me to call Customer Service.
I did as instructed- I spoke to a representative explaining the class being canceled was not in my control, and asked if they can still honor the sale price for the same class. After over 30 min of back and forth. They denied the request, suggesting I wait for another sale. I asked to speak to a supervisor (who refused to get on the call). I'm very disappointed in the customer service. Highly unlikely that I will book anything with this company.

Needed a cancel 2 seats to a cooking class. I was bummed that the only way to do it was to call, expecting long wait times and inefficient service. Boy was I surprised - I was on the phone with Ruben and the cancellation was completed in 2 minutes (literally).
I don't have a lot of experience with Sur La Table, but this service gave me the confidence to book something else immediately.

I ordered a few things from Sur La Table, and one of them was broken when we were removing it from the packing. I contacted Sur La Table customer service via email and was blown away by how responsive and helpful they were. They not only said they'd send a replacement, but didn't require us to send the original item back to them (as so many online sellers do). The customer service representative who handled my complaint was friendly and very reasonable. I'd give him an A++ if this were a grading situation!

Ordered a dutch oven pot Nov. 25 - email tells me it shipped Dec 11th - Christmas day and nothing shows up - no tracking # given - I contact customer service & they tell me they will send a tracking # - never received - next call to them, I'm told the item is back ordered till March 2023 and I say I am willing to wait - then I receive an email saying they are refunding the money which I did not ask for - upon calling again and asking to speak with a manager, (dog barking in the background), I am told that the item # no longer exists for that product - they will place another order in a different color except I will have to give them a credit card # again - RED FLAGS -
In short, they really don't want to honor the item or price of this transaction - one run around after the other - will never do business with Sur La Table again! - BEWARE

My buddy, who is a bonehead, couldn't locate the date/time of the SLT cooking class he signed us up for, so I called their customer service number to get the missing information. This company has the worst customer service I've ever seen. I made an order and they decided to add there own address to send it to. When I emailed to request it be changed to the address I provided. They responded we can't do anything. Have your bank deal with it.

I made a purchase at Sur le Table number 133 before Christmas for gifts for my husband. Due to many of these stores being closed down I had to drive an hour out of my way to purchase these items for him. Unfortunately our Christmas got delayed because of Christmas. My husband did not approve of the items I purchased so I try to return them all intact in the same bag with a receipt tags on every item, none of these items were seasonal as they were all utensils for the kitchen that they sell every day in the store. These items could be literally put back on the shelf right now to be resold however the store manager was very rude and would not even make an exception to make these returns happen. I explained the situation and then I asked her corporate number after getting transferred three times while standing inside the store corporate was not able to help me due to the simple fact apparently that I did not make these purchases online. I am very disappointed in this customer service I would like to be contacted ASAP about this. I could completely understand exceptions not being made if these were seasonal items marked on items or items they don't sell anymore or from even a different store but this was the store that I got these items from. I had to drive one hour to make this return happen as we were out of town and was not able to get here sooner. I honestly cannot believe how lacking good customer service is in this store! Ordered a carving board 12/2/22. Great sale price and "in stock", fast forward 24 hours, received notice it is not in stock but should be by 12/7/22, fast forward again and get notified it won't be in stock until late December even though it is still listed on the website as "in stock". Called to see if I could change the delivery address since it is a Christmas present. Told I could but would need to pay full price. Feel its not a scam but a bait and switch. If you want something as a gift, order several months ahead. Will wait to receive the sale price, but Sur La Table will not get any more of my business. Not a unique store.
