I have used Zacks Ultimate services for several years now with great success. I find that the various trading styles, level of insight, and of course, statistical success and modeling has translated into solid performance and returns. The ability to get real-time information in terms of texts and email during the trading day is very helpful.
I read the daily reports from several of your portfolio services, use their recommendations and find them extremely useful in my trading. The money invested in Zacks has paid off many times over during the past few years. I also profit from the monthly sessions on the market.
At the beginning of the pandemic, I bought into Zacks Top 10 Stocks portfolio. Within a couple of months, the market deteriorated, but staying in proved to be a "game changer." That portfolio went on that year to do +98%. It was followed up by +40% in 2021. I'll gladly give back the +15% in 2022 after having such success the two years prior. Looking forward to seeing how the next 10 years play out.
Research Wizard is a powerful tool for screening and analyzing. And I have been using it successfully for several years. Actually I just broke even in 2022; however, I regard that as a success, considering the performance of the market overall. I had great results in 2019, 2020, and 2021. In Q1 of 2023 I recorded a gain of 7.3%.
Most of my stock prospects come from screens that I have developed myself. However, I also monitor the Zacks services, and when a new Buy recommendation is made I use the Wizard to evaluate it against my personal criteria. I am a very conservative, value-oriented investor. Of course that doesn't work for everyone, but the nice thing about Research Wizard is that it can be tailored to match a personal investment philosophy.
Its a good place to start but make sure you don't end your search here otherwise you could be in for a shock. Dig deeper
Zacks Ultimate Commentary is valuable because it comes from people who see things more clearly than I do. I also like the Screening options and unlimited access to all the ratings. Research Wizard is also very helpful
If you can get 30 days of the Ultimate service for $1, do it! I've seen many negative reviews from people who simply didn't know how to turn off auto-renew after trying a trial period. And then they got charged. (Zack's makes this point clear when you sign up. You will be charged if you don't cancel.) It couldn't be easier. Go to "My Account", go to "Orders" and turn off auto-renew. Done. And you can do this the day you buy the trial. You still get your 30 days. They actually allowed me to sign-up for a "30 days at $1" deal four times! Then they told me I'd reached my limit. That gave me four months to look at EVERYTHING. Once you're in, I suggest looking at the various portfolios you can follow. They are actually very transparent. You can see every stock a particular portfolio has bought and sold, and how much money they made or lost on each one. You can even go back and look at results from previous years. (Once you're on a portfolio page, click on "Performance.") Each portfolio is run by a stock analyst, and they each provide regular updates on their portfolios, explaining why they are buying or selling a particular stock. The service isn't cheap. But try the $1 offer and click around. Look at everything. If you come to the site to buy a few random "Strong Buy" stocks here and there, you will fail. There's a lot more to investing than that. But the $1 trials are well worth it. (I did eventually buy into the service. It's only been a couple of months, so I can't say too much. But so far, I am having more success than when I was picking stocks on my own.)
I want to compliment you for the refreshing style, and thank you for your savvy insights. You explain, very well, the rationale for the trades and why you take profits or sell with an early loss. Continue doing your great job of helping us become better traders and investors.
-The managers of the various investment profiles inside Zacks (home run, value, income investors etc.) don't listen to their own website recommendations, i. E. they buy stock that ranks number 4 or 5 and sell stock that ranks number 1 or 2. Many times they keep stock in their portfolios even when ranking drops to 5. How do you expect investors to trust zacks score rank if your own portfolio managers don't follow.
-The rank scores (1 to 5) feels random sometimes, i. E. you might have a core =1 (strong buy) for a stock that has sub-scores of F for all criteria of value, growth, and momentum. The opposite is also true with stocks ranking at 5 while scoring A for all criteria of value, growth, and momentum.
-I have not made any significant gains by following the rank scores nor any of their portfolios.
I have been a customer of Zacks for several years. It has been a good source of information. Definitely love it. Nicholas (Nick) B. Is the expert whom I always go to. He has been a wonderful help. Should you have any questions, I would recommend you contact Nick. He'll have answers for you. The mobile app could be more user friendly, that's true. I've seen a big improvement since I started using it years ago. Look forward to seeing more of it.
What they do should be illegal. Use old data to keep a narrative going. Reminds me of PR news like you see with penny stock "pump and dump" scams. Pump out article after article with hype, not legit analysis.
The Zacks Research Wizard, has been a great tool for my personal investing. Price and Fundamental Charts help me see how these variables affect each other. Enabling me to identify winners at an early stage. I've had great picks like ROKU and SQUARE before the rally.
I wanted to include additional computation on one of the screeners. Jon S. walked me through on how to go about it. The outcome was amazing.
I make a lot of money investing, thinking that this investment is really for extra income, I hope next month I will get more profit, thank myself for always investing so much profit
I had no knowledge, I had no patience, I wanted money quickly.
And this is not so.
I need the knowledge that Zacks gives me, the plan and direction that the reports and the information in them give me.
The service is professional.
There was no option to pay in installments for a Zacks subscription.
"Zacks Ultimate offers very straight-to-the-point commentary and market insight with essential fact info. Compact, effective information service."
Zack Ultimate Commentary is a good summary of thoughts from several smart people!
The Zacks ETF Investor Summary Emails are valuable because the info comes directly to me. I don't have to log in or have a computer to access the information. PDBC is this year's big winner for me at over +25%. XLE and XOP are not far behind. These wins are in the tens of thousands. Priceless.
Tremendous value. Thank you.
I regularly use Zacks ranks and broker rating from zacks to help pick stock for my portfolio. So far I have been successful in investing in right stocks.
I opened my trading account on July 9th 2020 with $25.000.00 and as of todays date (2/8/2021) I have just about doubled my money and am showing a 96.75% ROI in my trading account.
I use the screener weekly and follow the daily portfolio updates. I must say that I do not always pitch a stock if it gets downgraded by Zacks as I have developed a set of "stats" that I follow and have made money off of some of the stocks that were downgraded to a #4. However, I am always asking myself; "What does Zack know that I don't?" and like the screeners ability to fine me stocks for my watch list. I would love to have Zack update the screening manual and add some standard screening for ETF's as well.
I would not pay for this service as you can get a lot of the stuff they offer from free at finviz.com and simillar sites. However, the free options can provide you with general information and then its up to you to dig deeper.
I first tried out the 30-day trial of Zacks Ultimate and noticed excellent returns, enough to convince me to subscribe. I have just completed my first year of subscription to Zacks Ultimate and didn't understand its full value until far into the year. I've used the recommended stocks from each of the Investor and Trading services as well as the Innovators portfolios. Using options for leverage, I have enjoyed a +232% return on my portfolio.
White trying out their Zacks Ultimate package for a year, I realized most of the advice on Buys are extremely bad timing. Actually, once I started doing opposite their advice I started regaining my losses following their picks. The advice they give is desperate, most of their picks lose 10% to 35% or greater within the first month and then they call to sell the position. This cycle repeats over and over. If you want your portfolio cut in half or less, follow these guys. I have been able to recover my losses by doing opposite their picks.
It is SO HARD to cancel the $#*!ing the subscription that you can't find a button to click on for you to unsubscribe. They claim the analysis are useful, but the 'report' inside the companies are just simple information that people can find in SEC website, accompany with some genetic market overview. Completely trash and try to steal your money away
[Income Investor Editor Bryan Hayes is] doing a great job. [He explains] what trending numbers and issues mean rather than just saying what the numbers are, i. E. "In another positive sign, the VIX Index (-4.56%) fell as stocks rose. It's a step back in the right direction after a move higher earlier in the week. A continued move lower is desirable, and if we can break the earlier low in August, stocks could really pick up steam. Normally, lower volatility and a downward-trending VIX coincide with rising stock prices." A VIX@ -4.56% doesn't mean much to me, but it does now with your explanation. Thanks! Those underlines aren't guess work, that's professional interpretation in my view.
That's what I appreciate. Keep it up!
Customer service was very efficient. Good work.
Thanks for your help. Your clear explanation and patience in walking me through the steps I need to take made the difference in my grasps of how to get what I paid for.
Serves as a useful guide for managing my portfolio - whether to buy a new fund, add to an existing holding, keep or sell a fund.

Earnings estimate revisions are the most powerful force impacting stock prices.
This crucial finding led to the creation of our proven Zacks Rank stock-rating system that harnesses the power of earnings estimates. Since 1988, the private Zacks #1 Rank List has more than doubled the S&P 500, averaging +25.0% per year.
