They don't make up fake profiles of the women to attract male users. Girls are real there and they are properly screened. There are other reputable sites as well. But Zoosk just fails on multiple fronts and all in all, it's designed to fool and fleece people out of their money. Ghastly rip off with non-existent customer service and lots of tricky fine print!
I was duped by them and reeled in by many "gorgeous women" who contacted me before I signed up. All of them disappeared when I purchased membership.

With nary an explanation beyond the vague accusattion that I violated their terms of service, my newly created account on the site was banned, and there was absolutely no recourse for recovery.

As far as I can tell, the website is either discriminating against me for an unknown reason, or there was an administrative error that they are unwilling to own up to.

Was recently scammed on Zoosk by a very sophisticated operation. When I tried to contact Zoosk customer service their number was always off-line! When I emailed a detailed report on what happened to me my email came back undelivered. This site is as big a scam as the scammers that prey on its members. Would stay away from this site! Untrustworthy and no customer service help or follow up! A 0 out of 10 rating!

The app was a little difficult to navigate in the beginning, there was no instructions. Once I got the hang of it, though I was getting about five guys a week that I was interested in chatting with. I really liked the filter so you could see some good information before going out. Most guys, we chatted on the app and then exchanged phone numbers talked on the phone, and then met at a restaurant. Everybody I talk to that was a match for me was super nice, and I was surprised to find so many single men in my area. I ended up falling in love with someone who lives 2 1/2 hours away, but we are making it work And I am so in love.

The amount of fake profiles and fake photos are ridiculous. The site puts people in your views to make you think they are looking at you when they are not. They send you messages saying you have messages, to get you to renew, when you don't. They have what they say are live singles ready to chat at the top of the search page, but the women look like hookers. Don't waste your money!

I'm taking my Zoosk account down and it seems to be not that easy as I thought it would be. Obviously they want to keep charging me and I need to stop them so I'll have to cancel my bank card.
Most of the views, likes and first messages that you see on Zoosk are generated by bots. They are especially active before you purchase their overpriced 6-month membership. Then it turns into ghost city.

It's good at least naroweing down by raduis and by age but not much else and at least easy to use but not much let it stand out

I wouldn't recommend this site. My pics were taken down and I had everything covered but women with huge boobs and nipples showing were allowed to post their pics. I tried several times to get my photo's approved but was rejected. Don't waste your money. There are legitimate sites out there so much better than this one. My pics were tasteful and PG rated while they allowed grotesque women to flaunt their fake assets.

What happens is when you cancel your subscription they keep your listing up to make people think they have 4 times more profiles than they actually due, and they don't let people who cancel know this so not only does this do a disservice for the person canceling but also active members try to contact dead listings that should be removed, they don't even let folks know this is happening, very sleasy.

Waste of time and money. Encountered nothing but scammers and hogs. Not good compared to other dating sites.

I found what I wanted on J4Dates.com - that's the type of relationship where a man can stay a man and a woman can stay a woman. There is one flaw - you have to travel. But trust me, it's worth it. Rather than putting my energy and life into useless attempts to build relationship with the type of women I met on Zoosk (women who think the world of themselves and look down on men) I'd better travel to meet with a True Lady. Rather than being a subject of whims of some crazy overweight feminist, I'd better just be happy with a simple, kind-hearted and family-oriented woman. So my recommendation to everyone who can relate to this situation: try this option. Stop wasting your money, time and emotions on Zoosk!
Most of the views and likes on Zoosk are produced by bots just to entice you into getting a paid membership. Out of 45 profiles I interacted with only 3 women were real. But they were arrogant and selfish drama queens.

I met her the day after I intended to unsubscribe from Zoosk but Zoosk refused to give me my money back bc I was a day late. I thought that was weak but they tried to make it up to me by giving me 3 months for half off. The next day I met the love of my life. We were together for almost a year but it ended bc her ex husband is obsessed with her & her 15 yo son is an entitled sociopath. I'll always love her tho.

After careful consideration, I have decided to discontinue my membership with the Zoosk dating site. As an individual who embraces an alternative lifestyle, I have found that this platform does not cater to my specific needs. Additionally, the cost of membership is exorbitant and does not align with the value I receive from the service. Furthermore, I have noticed a lack of diversity in the user base, resulting in a repetitive experience with limited options. Therefore, I have made the decision to explore other dating platforms that better align with my lifestyle and preferences.

Satisfied with the outcome, pretty good dating site. I think the price is OK and I liked the option of pausing account, very useful when you're trying to focus on one person. As we all know, it takes several attempts to meet someone you are really interested in..

This is a paid dating site. I thought will be good idea to look for love. Unfortunately, whole bunch of scammers and messages did not go through a lot of times. It's just waste of time and money.

I tried to use the subscription, so far I cannot understand how and in what order this service works. I hope that these are the first misunderstandings I have encountered. I expect that the result is ahead. Therefore, I maintain a neutral position.

First off, I am a 61 year old Italian American in great shape form eastern Massachusetts, if any woman need a date, send me a message, maybe we click, maybe not, not desperate at all, just want to complimant my life. ZOOSK is a a scam, it is by far the fakest dating website I have ever seen, DO NOT JOIN ZOOSK. I was scammed twice, NOBODY responds, every thing you try to do you need to pay more. A complete ripoff. If I could give less than a 1, I would. I reported two of the scams while I was on that site to the feds. If you send a message NOBODY responds, you see it look like someone viewed you but NOBODY responds which ells me it's all a scam, the owners should be arrested

If you're desperate, go for it.
If you have standards and self esteem, it'll wear on you after the first couple of days once you realize that most profiles are either fake or ancient. The "algorithm" only suggests men significantly older than I and farther than what would seem reasonable for dating, let alone trying to develop something serious. Lots of losers looking to just bed as many women as possible and most don't bother reading what I've written about myself and the kind of man I want in my life. Frequent occurrences... being called "baby" right outta the gate, giving their phone number almost immediately, saying "I'm different" or "I'm looking for my best friend" 100 times in the first contact. Weirdoes, desperate whiners and FAKE accounts galore! I only paid $44 for 3 months and I WON'T be renewing! Their customer service is pathetic! I asked a simple question about canceling my subscription now, t avoid auto renew and still having access for the time I purchased and the response was this ridiculously long, cut'n paste with advice on how to answer unwanted attention, when "yes" would've sufficed. What a waste of money!

Very useless site with terrible search engine, Connections on Carousel are mostly bots and fake profiles used to keep you hooked. Charges are always higher than you expected. Zoosk is really overpriced, if you take into account price-quality ratio (with zero quality!) It's full of fake profiles, stolen photos and identities. Their appalling customer service never ban them. I don't need to waste my money and time on Zoosk anymore and I don't recommend it to anyone. However if you decide to use it, protect yourself, use your common sense and your gut feeling a lot, since Zoosk isn't going to protect you from fakes and scammers.
Anyway, I've had enough of it and left it.

This site started out where it appeared to be legit, but as I went on, I figured the women (if they are real) are completely looking for someone that does not exist on this planet. They message you one or two messages and then completely ghost you after that, and then when you try to search one that "likes" you. They dont seem to exist on the site? To many weird things that lead me to conclude that this is a scam site. Save your money and time as you will never find anyone on this site. I've seen the women posted on this site on other sites with different names, so there you have it, make a conclusion on your own.

I had to go through many before I found the right one. I reviewed several dating sites and liked Zoosk the best. Easy to navigate.

I live in a populated area. One could think there should be a reasonable number of singles. None within 100 miles are real Zoosk accounts! This platform claims to have millions of members, but 95% must be fake, or inactive accounts. Computer-generated "likes" and "views" to keep the paying customers interested are abundant. I met one real person within a year of subscription, the rest of the contacts were bogus. I have ten more days of subscription and I started being flooded with attention from fake accounts used by Zoosk employees to persuade me to keep my subscription. I wouldn't waste any time or cents on Zoosk if I knew what I know now.
